Day 2: Flat Gives Way to Pretty

As the pic below indicates, I took a short detour today to Meteor Crater. It’s only 6 miles off of I-40 so I figured, why not. I have actually been there before, when I was 12. It’s still pretty damn impressive.
I’ve logged 935 miles so far, I believe. It doesn’t go as fast as I’d hoped, but it’s more pleasant. Today was approximately 570 miles and none if it was tough.
Tomorrow: Amarillo or bust!
